Our Philosophy
Studio RB is a women-owned, full-service interior architecture and design studio based in New York City, co-founded in 2020 by Gal Vaknin-Raz and Evgeny Bogomolov. We bring award-winning design thinking to restaurants and bars, private residences, and commercial spaces — with the precision of a large firm and the personal attention of a boutique practice.
We don't impose a house style. We listen first — to who you are, how you want to feel in a space, and what the design needs to accomplish beyond the aesthetic. From that, we find the story that is uniquely yours and build every decision around it. The result is always a space that feels singular, considered, and entirely your own.
From first sketch to final walkthrough, Studio RB handles every element of the process — space planning and architectural rendering, material and FF&E selection, brand integration, and full project management. Our work has earned recognition from the Bar & Restaurant Expo and Shop! OMA Awards, and has been featured in Forbes, NEWH, and KBB Online. We design for clients who take quality seriously. With over a decade of experience across hospitality and residential design, Gal leads Studio RB with an instinctive understanding of atmosphere, material, and narrative. Her work has taken her from Manhattan dining rooms to Long Island residences — each project shaped by a deep commitment to the client's vision. Recognised with the Bar & Restaurant Expo Design of the Year award and featured in Forbes and NEWH, she brings both creative precision and personal care to every project she leads.

Evgeny Bogomolov brings a rigorous architectural sensibility to every Studio RB project — balancing spatial logic with material warmth to ensure that each space is as precisely built as it is beautifully designed. As Principal Designer, Evgeny shapes the studio's technical standards and oversees architectural execution across the full portfolio. His belief that design must be built to endure as well as to inspire underpins the studio's long-term approach to every client relationship.
