The View Residence is an 8,000-square-foot home in Long Island designed for a family that wanted a complete transformation — from a conventional suburban interior to a home that felt architecturally considered and beautifully calm. The brief prioritised natural light, flow between spaces, and materials that would age gracefully.
Studio RB reconfigured the layout to maximise the views that gave the project its name, opening the main living floor to a sweeping landscape beyond. A palette of natural stone, white oak, and warm plaster runs throughout, with furniture and fixtures chosen to feel curated rather than matched. Every room was designed to feel like a destination.
