A 2,000-square-foot apartment in Queens, designed as a full interior renovation for a young family requiring a complete rethink of an existing floor plan. The brief prioritised practicality without sacrificing design quality — a home that could absorb the energy of children while remaining genuinely beautiful.
Studio RB reconfigured the entry and open-plan living areas, creating a better flow between kitchen, dining, and living spaces. Durable materials were selected throughout — large-format porcelain tile, lacquered millwork, and textured wall finishes — with warmth introduced through carefully chosen furniture and lighting.
