The Pebble Residence is a 5,500-square-foot home in Long Island where the brief was to create a space of enduring warmth — a home built for gathering, for slowing down, and for the particular pleasure of a well-designed everyday life. The clients wanted natural materials, generous proportions, and rooms that flowed easily from one to the next.
Studio RB organised the interior around a series of material moments: a stone fireplace wall anchoring the main living area, a kitchen in aged oak and honed marble, and a family room designed for children and adults in equal measure. The result is a home that feels unhurried and entirely its own.
